Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh (which literally translates to an abode of snow) is located in Trans Himalayan ranges, the outermost range of the Himalayas.

Spiti is a place frozen in space and time with vast valleys, glaciers, interesting geological features and towering trans-Himalayan peaks.

The extreme environmental events like avalanches, snowstorms, landslides, and rock falls are common is this part of Himachal Pradesh state. Rare Himalayan wildlife like Snow leopard has adapted their body to survive under such extreme climatic conditions..

Day Wise Program

 Day 01 - Chandigarh – Narkanda (2710m) Duration: 5-6 hours

Start from Chandigarh & then Drive to Narkanda, Narkanda is a town and a nagar panchayat in Kumarsain subdivision of Shimla district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. En-route visits the queen of hills Shimla and kufri. On arrival at Narkanda check inn into hotel, dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

 Day 02 - Narkanda – Sarahan - Kalpa (3000m) Duration: 6-7 hours

Today we drive to Kalpa, Kalpa is a small village in the Sutlej river valley, above Reckong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, in the Indian Himalaya. En-route visit Sarahan (Bhima Kali Temple) The Bhima kali Temple is a grand 'tower temple', its majestic twin towers being it’s most defining feature. On arrival at Kalpa, overnight stay and dinner at hotel.

 Day 03 - Kalpa – Kibber Village (4270m) Duration: 7- 8 hours

Today we start from Kalpa and drive to Kibber Village, Kibber also Kyibar is a village high in the Spiti Valley in the Himalayas at 4270 metres or 14,200 ft in Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It contains a monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. En-route Nako, Tabo, Kaza and then Kibber, overnight stay and dinner at Homestay at kibber.

 Day 04 – Full day rest at Kibber Village.

Today we have full day for rest at kibber and you can explore Kibber Village, Kibber Monastery and Kibber wildlife sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay at homestay.

 Day 05, 06 & 07 – Day for Snow Leopard Finding in Kibber wildlife Sanctuary.

Day for Hiking and following the elusive snow leopard around Kibber wildlife sanctuary. Reach early at spotting places like Rong Nala and other places in Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Snow leopard tracking guides and porters will accompany you to the spot. There would not be any specific routine for these 3 days reserved for spotting snow leopards, as we need to move to the spotting places as soon as we hear about the sighting from our spotting guides.

 Day 08 - Kibber - Sangla (2882m) Duration: 6 hours

The.

 Day 09 – Sangla – Chhitkul - Sarahan(2100m) Duration: 6 hours.

Bara.

Day 10 – Sarahan – Chandigarh, Duration: 7-8 hours.

After a rest day,
